The Museum Audio Guide

The museum gave Harold an audio guide. He pressed play in the first room.

“Now turn left into the gallery of portraits,” it said. Harold turned left. The voice was already describing the next room. He hurried past three paintings to catch up.

By the time he reached the staircase, the guide announced the gift shop and thanked him for visiting.

Harold returned to the desk. “Your guide walks faster than I do.”

The attendant showed him a pause button.

“I saw that,” Harold said. “I thought it paused the paintings.”
